In one line

The bar is low, except for one requirement you cannot negotiate: the game has to be installed on an SSD. Gaijin lists it in the additional notes on the store page, not as a suggestion. You also need 45 GB of space.

Minimum is Windows 10/11 64-bit, Core i5-6600 or Ryzen 3 1300X, 8 GB RAM, GTX 1050 Ti / RX 470 / ARC A580. Recommended is i5-8700 or Ryzen 5 3600, 16 GB RAM, RTX 2060 / RX 5700 XT / ARC A770.

Linux is natively supported and it runs on Steam Deck.

Why the SSD line matters

Extraction shooters stream terrain and materials continuously as you load in and move. A mechanical drive doesn’t just cost you picture quality, it costs load time and hitches on entry. When everyone else has already taken position while you are still reading off disk, that gap converts straight into a death rate.

The 45 GB figure is the same on Windows and Linux, so you don’t need to budget separately.

A three-minute self-check

  1. Open your disk utility and confirm at least 45 GB free on an SSD. If not, solve that before anything else.
  2. Check memory. 8 GB gets you in; 16 GB is what Gaijin recommends.
  3. Check graphics. GTX 1050 Ti / RX 470 / ARC A580 or better.
  4. Check CPU. i5-6600 / Ryzen 3 1300X or better.
  5. On Linux or Steam Deck, you’re fine — native support, no compatibility-layer workarounds needed.
  6. Once in game, tune resolution scaling, shadows and volumetric fog first. Those three move frame rate the most.

Frequently asked

What frame rate will I get?

Gaijin hasn’t published a target. One creator reported around 130 FPS on a high-end machine, but that is a personal measurement, not an official guarantee.

Will it support DLSS 5?

A player asked, and the studio answered that it adds cutting-edge tech “when it truly benefits the game, not just for the sake of it.” For now, DLSS 4 and DirectX 12 are the confirmed features.

Can I play on a Mac?

No. macOS is marked unsupported on Steam. For non-Windows systems, the route is Linux or Steam Deck.
